PEDIATRIC ROTATION

  • Pediatric reading rooms and Main radiology reading rooms

Travel
  • Jitney leaves MSW at 9 AM and arrives MSH Icahn building at 9:20 AM 
  • Jitney Leaves MSH at 5:50 PM and arrives at MSW at 6:10 PM

Daily Schedule
  • 9:30-12 PM 
    • Dr. Rabinowitz x-ray review in Main reading room 
  • 12 - 1:30 PM 
  • 1:30-5 PM 
    • Reading in Pediatrics reading room 
Conferences
  • Pulmonary and Heme-oncology radiology conferences on Thursday mornings
  • Other x1 monthly meetings (the attendings will mention them if you need to attend)  

First Day Duties
  • Got to the residency program coordinator, Katharina Wang, in Admin.
  • Go to the IT department (next to the main reading room) and give them your "dictation number" (ask Katharina or it could be found on New Innovations) so that they can connect you to the MSH PACS/IDX system
  • Review how to access and use RA1000 with IT
Directions

VIA ESCALATOR:
  • Enter at 1468 Madison Avenue (corner 100th Street)
  • Go past security guards, take stairs on the left
  • At the top of the stairs, to your left, look for “Annenberg” building
  • Proceed through entrance to this building, bear right; continue straight towards the book store
  • At the book store, make left and continue till you see escalators
  • Take escalators down
  • At the vending machines, make a left; walk short distance to “Radiology Education Center” (AMC-330)
  • Enter reception area, make left just past the sofa into the Library, AMC-338
  • Katharina Wang's office is just beyond the library, to the right

OR

VIA STAIRS:
  • Enter at 1468 Madison Avenue (corner 100th Street)
  • Go past security desk, take stairs behind Security Desk going down
  • At the bottom of the steps, walk a short distance and make a left
  • Follow this corridor all the way until you see 2nd set of double doors leading into another corridor (Annenberg Building)
  • Make a left, go past the vending machines, a short distance after the vending machines on the left, you’ll see “Radiology Education Center” (AMC-330)
  • Enter reception area, make left just past the sofa into the Library, AMC-338
  • Katharina Wang's office is just beyond the library, to the right
